When it was released for PC, PS4 and Xbox One last October, it became something of a cult hit. Horror games don't have to rely on jump scares in order to frighten players, and the likes of SadQuare Studios' Visagewas proof of that. Those who embrace it get some kind of kick out of being scared or paranoid, even after they stop playing. Even those who don't play horror games must admit that there is something intriguing in a sort of thrill-seeking way about the genre.
